Mermaid Blood roughs part 3 Cove the Fish Man

And so the second life of Cove, came to be.
Neither fish, nor man, nor merfolk was he.
Free to swim but not truly free.
Forever a trinket of his mistress,
a player in these tales of the sea.

“But forever is mine.
And one day, I will be free.”

And now we come to the main(ish) character for Mermaid Blood, Cove the fish-man. This is just the initial sketch. I'm going to experiment with his form a bit more. But the basic idea is there. Cove is a mishmash of different species, including Merfolk, Human and Fish. Why? It's too spoilery. I'm going to go into Cove's origin in the first chapter.
